My recent Pap smear shows ASCUS + HPV high risk positive. My last test was done in May 2021 which showed normal and negative HPV. I have scheduled a colposcopy next month but how possible I would have a result >= CIN3? I am very nervous and worried?
Is taking 3 biopsies standard when performing colposcopy regardless of findings ? Even with normal paps and no cell changes but hpv positive not 16/18 ?
Why would doc want a colposcopy if normal paps yearly and negative 16/18 hpv but only this year high Hr hpv but negative 16/18?
