I think you're: probably ok, especially if you aren't having any other symptoms, i.e. pain or fever. You imply you have a slow transit time in the colon anyway, so I think you can watch and wait another day or two. If it goes much longer than that, I would have a conversation, at a minimum, with your doctor. Good on you...getting your colonoscopy:)

No: Lack of a bowel movement 6 days after colonoscopy in a patient who often gets constipation isn't too unusual. I would suggest the usual measures to promote a normal bowel movement. See my Checklist "Treating Constipation" and go to: http://bit.ly/1uzOegm Increase water intake, fiber supplement, dried fruit like prunes or apricots, more physical activity.
