Testing focuses on the item to be studied, not all things. These tests require specific equipment and personnel time. The nicotine and cotinine show up in urine tests when looked for specifically. They are not part of tonsillitis testing.

Tests for strep infection do not test for use of tobacco. If you use tobacco in any form, quit doing it while you are ahead. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
