Maybe just the opposite. Ibuprofen and similar drugs (NSAIDs) can interfere with blood clotting and increase bleeding. If some sort of uterine inflammation is the cause, however, it might reduce bleeding. Impossible to predict with certainty, but it would be best to stop the ibuprofen unless it is approved by a gynecologist. Good luck.
