Out fo nowhere i developed a small cluster of black dots on both thumbs. they are located at the fingertips, flat and do not itch or hurt. the size is about 2 mm. it started on one thumb and 5 days later on the other thumb. contagious? what is this?

If it looks like blood under the skin it may just be what is called petechiae and it is due to trauma when you put pressure on the thumb. Are you on blood thinners or probably you should evaluate it further especially if you have other symptoms.
