17 years old still suck thumb. have a big lump on the palm of my sucking thumb, hurts but doesn't itch. recently, new small bumps grew and it itches.

Thumb sucking: Thumb sucking can cause dermatitis that itches as well it can cause infection (bacterial, fungal, viral including herpes)

Find substitute : Seems like you've been going through a lot being only 17
your use of your thumb as a coping mechanism stems from child hood habit of using it to comfort you. You need to find a substitute or see a psychologist who uses hypnosis to leave the thumb behind because your an adult and can have a normal looking thumb again so it will look like the other one.
