17 years old still suck thumb. have a big lump on the palm of my sucking thumb, hurts but doesn't itch. recently, new small bumps grew and it itches.

Thumb sucking: Thumb sucking can cause dermatitis that itches as well it can cause infection (bacterial, fungal, viral including herpes) need to see your physician to determine what's causing the bumps.

Find substitute : Seems like you've been going through a lot being only 17 your use of your thumb as a coping mechanism stems from child hood habit of using it to comfort you. You need to find a substitute or see a psychologist who uses hypnosis to leave the thumb behind because your an adult and can have a normal looking thumb again so it will look like the other one.
