It is safer to take antacid (mylanta) or histamin 2 antagonist (famotidine or cimetidine) for the heartburn and laxative as needed for the constipation in the mean time, then asking your cardiologist or family doctor for a different antiplatelet medication such as clopidogrel (plavix) to replace aspirin.
