Although HSV IgG results 1.1 and higher technically are positive, in fact most such results are mistaken. It's only when the value is 3.5 or higher that HSV2 is confirmed. In other words, your first result really didn't mean you have HSV2. Smart move having the second test: it proves you don't have it. (Herpes and STD experts would not have treated you based only on that first test result.)
