A member asked:

Results for herpes igg 1 blood test = 1.95 h (<0.91). what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Antibodies: A positive herpes igg means you have antibodies to the herpes virus. If you test positive for igg and negative for igm, your herpes infection is probably not recent - i.e. From the past 2 months. The test is not always accurate; if you have never had a herpes infection it could be a false positive, and you should have it repeated.
