A prolactinoma (especially macroadenoma) should be monitored by an endocrinologist together with an OB-GYN. Certain symptoms can develop and the fetus' risks should be highly weighed against the benefit of available treatment options. Certain hormones are already affected during pregnancy; a tumor can potentially increase them more.

There are several varieties of pituitary tumors, with the prolactin-secreting tumor more concerning than others. Some, however, are inactive, and unlikely to either be affected by pregnancy nor influence fetal development. As mentioned, an endocrinologist should work closely with your obstetrician.
