A member asked:

Is sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim good for turbinate hypertrophy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I can think of no reason any antibiotic would change the size and structure of any body part, including the nasal turbinate. If the surrounding tissue were infected, treating the infection could reduce inflammation, but that layer is millimeters thick. Change even in that scenario would likely be minimal.
