My 6 week old has covid, hasnt been tested but we all have it and he now has cold symptoms. 99.3 fever, congestion, and fussy. how long will he be sick?

Covid in an otherwise healthy 6 week old can last 1-2 weeks. It could also be RSV (Resporatory syncitial virus) so watch for increasing cough with phlegm. Any distress at all or fever over 100.4 and you should take him to be seen by his primary pediatrician. Keep breastfeeding, and dont supplement with water or anything else (the antibodies in your breastmilk will help him fight this off)
