Ive been sick since friday. 12/23 its now 12/27. if came on slowly i honestly thought it was a cold i tested last night due to a low grade fever and i was positive for covid. so ive been sick for 4 days have i had covid his whole time?

Very likely, it has been Covid all along. You may take acetaminophen for fever and aches, no more than 3 g in one day, no alcohol. If you are moving about, wear a mask. In about 6 weeks get a booster dose of Covid vaccine. Wish you good health!

Your question is not clear from the post. If your going to take Paxlovid as treatment you must start immediately for it to help. At your age, if you don't have a chronic medical condition and the symptoms are mild, I would just ride it out. There are some side effects of the med. The peak intensity of symptoms varies but clusters around day 8.
