Monoclonal bands: A monclonal band suggests the abnormal production of antibody by a single expanded clone of a b-cell lymphocyte. Sometimes this is a malignancy issue (myeloma) some times it is not (mgus). In either case, this should be monitored by a hematology-oncology physician.
