An examination is recommended. The use of local heat often is effective in reducing musculoskeletal pain. During the first 24 hours, mild symptoms may occur. Please follow up with your physician soon. If you experience distress, worsening pain and dizziness, proceed to the Emergency room. Watch for these signs and rest

In view of your head injury do not take any opiates, opiods, tranquilizers or even muscle relaxants as these may increase drowsiness,& decrease judgement,&motor skills & concern caretakers. You could take.mild doses of ibuprofen or naproxen to help with pain. Wearing a soft neck collar should help manage your neck pain on motion.

Head injuries are often associated with neck symptoms. Dizziness is usually due to the head trauma affecting inner ear/ brain stem connections. A soft cervical collar might help the neck strain with a resultant decrease in headaches. Contact your doctor about your analgesic approach, as certain medications can worsen your dizziness.
