Please have a COVID-19 bivalent booster today,if available. The immunity to the infection wanes with time and the booster response is longer. Wear a mask, wash hands and avoid contact with anyone I'll. There are other respiratory infections in the community. Take your as needed asthma medication with you to the get together. Watch for signs of shortness of breath and wheezing. Avoid smokeexposure

You do have risk factors for severe Covid so you should be wearing a mask when out in public (including around your family) as well as frequent hand washing and social distancing, as able. You do need the latest bivalent Covid vaccine to further protect you from contracting Covid again. These steps will also help to prevent you from getting other respiratory illnesses, like flu and RSV. Good luck!

Wearing a mask will protect you from respiratory infections. There is no downside to wearing a mask. Given your high risk for infection, wearing a mask is a good precaution. Take Flu vaccine and talk to your doctor about pnumovax. Wish you good health!
