A member asked:

Can pelvic phleboliths occur inside the scrotum? i have a few round hard "stones" not attached to my testes that feel like phleboliths. one has been there (free floating) for 30 years, another two for at least one year unchanged. they're identical?

By Radiopaedia website those could be scrotoliths, also known as scrotal pearls, are benign incidental extratesticular macrocalcifications within the scrotum. They frequently occupy the potential space of the tunica vaginalis or sinus of the epididymis. They are usually of no clinical significance. US of the scrotum will confirm the diagnosis.

Phlebolith means calcification of/in a vein. pelvis and scrotum are seprate areas of the body. Very rarely a small hard free-floating calcification may be palpated due to any cause eg hematoma or it may be pedunculated from the testes/ epididymis. You need to be seen by a Urologist. Self diagnosis is invariably wrong and often dangerous. Good luck
