A week at the most: Lexapro (escitalopram) is relatively short acting and should be out of your system in about a week at the most.

A 31-year-old female asked:
Will going from .5 to 10mg Lexapro (escitalopram) work?

No problem: It looks like you meant to write 5mg to 10mg of Lexapro (escitalopram) (.5mg Lexapro (escitalopram) doesn't exist). Consult prescriber with dosage changes. There is no issue with increasing from 5 to 10mg of Lexapro (escitalopram) once per day. Monitor for side effects closely (racing thoughts, agitation).
