A member asked:

I have rectal bleeding from radiation proctitis. colonoscopy scheduled in january. should i stop taking daily baby aspirin? prostate cancer radiation ended in march. stent placed in 99% blocked lad in 2017. taking hydrocortisone suppositories. i'm 71?

Since you have a stent in a coronary artery,it's important to take low dose aspirin indefinitely. If you're only experiencing trace amounts of bright red blood on the paper, I'm sure your cardiologist would want you to continue aspirin. However with substantial rectal bleeding & chronic anemia, this would have to be a collaborative decision between your cardiologist and the gastroenterologist.
