Since you have a stent in a coronary artery,it's important to take low dose aspirin indefinitely. If you're only experiencing trace amounts of bright red blood on the paper, I'm sure your cardiologist would want you to continue aspirin. However with substantial rectal bleeding & chronic anemia, this would have to be a collaborative decision between your cardiologist and the gastroenterologist.
