Does left ventricular hypertrophy cause accelerated idioventricular rhythm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I've never seen a connection between the two. The benign version of accelerated idioventricular rhythm ( rates 50-100, but closer to 50) is considered a protective physiologic rhythm when the SA and AV nodes don't fire. It's usually seen in younger people.
