A member asked:

Is it worth testing lipoprotein-associated phospholipase a2 with hs, crp? or is crp good enough to guage cardiovascular risk ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Why do you think either of tests is indicated? Unwarranted testing has risks. The normal ranges are usually central 95% of the values in a Healthy population and by definition 5% of the abnormal results occur in healthy people. Please see a doctor for your health assessment to ascertain if any testing is needed. Wish you good health!
