I recommend collaboration between a dermatologist and an allergist for accurate diagnoses and proper treatment. I don't electric cautery will be used, but alert them to the presence of your ICD. I assume that you don't have an overactive thyroid to account for excess sweating. Dermatologist can address treatment of hyperhydrosis.
