I had congenital pulmonary valve stenosis and a successful balloon valvuloplasty at age 10. will i need another procedure prior to pregnancy? i am 28 year old female now?

The only people well versed enough to answer this will be the cardiologist who you see now working with your OBGYN. These would be the folks who know your history and the present status of your cardiovascular system. If you haven't seen a cardiologist for a while you should do so before planning a pregnancy.

A Cardiology consult and Echo may be helpful. Watch for signs of shortness of breath and change in exercise ability. Most likely if you feel well, there is no further intervention needed.
