The approved treatment for "PCOS" is to take oral bcp's, which prevents changes in the lining of the uterus. Depending on when you started the oral bcp's, long term PCOS can lead to thickened uterine lining (endometrial) which can lead to increased withdrawal bleeding during the placebo week. Stop the "dicynone", and when the bleeding stops, start a new oral bcp pack.
