what are a few reasons why a woman who has had a partial hysterectomy seven years ago would have bright red bleeding after intercourse ?

Please call your gyn: But some are vaginal cut , tear , abrasion, vagina cancer, atrophic vaginitis your gyn need to do an exam.
Dr. Dennis Higginbotham

Depends: The cervix could be the problem. A partial hysterectomy would leave the cervix. There would be risk for cervical dysplasia or cancer. A vaginal infection or vaginal cancer could cause bleeding. Granulation tissue on the hysterectomy scar can often result in bleeding. See your doctor.

Possibly: Flu can include: fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, extreme fatigue, and sometimes vomiting and diarrhea. 49 year old with serious nasal congestion, really bad when lying down. Have had this problem for a while?

Seek treatment: Infection can cause congestion as well as bad allergies. There are medicines for both. We have many different medications for severe nasal allergies so see your doctor to know what treatment would be right for you. When you lie down the pressure in the veins of your nasal passages is higher and the congestion is usually worse. That is normal.

Blisters under: Toenails are quite common in sports participants. If you're able to drain it, apply a topical antibiotic and wrap it in a band aid, that's about the best you can do short term. You might want to check on the size of the soccer boots. If too small, they can be making things worse. Also, i hope the coach/trainer has them wearing running shoes for the pure running workouts.

She might try wearing two pair of socks on each foot and see if that helps. This was something I was taught back in high school by my coach and it worked for me. ( to prevent the blisters, not treat them.)

What would cause my son's ear to bleed slightly after having swimmers ear?

1 doctor answer1 doctor weighed in
Dr. Cornelia Franz

Inflammation: Is the cause of swimmers ear. The skin gets wet and boggy and inflamed and it could bleed from that or if he picks it at all it could bleed. If he had a middle ear infection as well and the eardrum perforated it could bleed. None of these are terrible problems. If you are concerned it is always a good idea to have it checked out.
