It depends on your height and weight (are you overweight or obese) and your previous exercise condition (do you exercise daily for at least 30 minutes or have you been sedentary). People who consistently exercise find their heart rate decreases with the same activity over time. the same is true for people with BMI approaching 25. Start with shorter workouts of less intensity and build up.
