The body has a better way of determining what is appropriate size more than you know. Do not worry about that, your child is likely to stop when full. The more important is to avoid sugary drinks and encourage drinking water more.

A source of protein should be offered along with fruits and vegetables. A cream soup may be added to improve nutritional value. Avoid large starchy meals, bad fats and high sugar snacks/drinks. Watch for signs of GI upset.
