Self-dx dental abscess, can't see dentist until 1 week. have clindmycin but afraid it'll give me c. diff as i have stomach issues, unsure if allergic to amox (temp spotting went away in an hour, also had virus while on it). what are alternatives?

Any medications will only help a bit, even if you do have an infection, which has not been determined. You did not mention pain or swelling, so at this time it may be best to wait until next week for your appointment. If you do have pain or swelling see if you can be seen earlier as an emergency.
