A member asked:

2 ct w/ contrast scans 5 months apart. each time there was a stable solitary 13mm periaortic/ retroperitoneal lymph node. first report used the term periaortic and second used the term " mildly enlarged retroperitoneal" node. is this normal size?

Barely it seems. Otherwise would not likely commented on it. But always hard to put into writing what the observer see. Peri-aortic is also retroperitoneal if I remember my anatomy. One can Google it and look at the anatomy to better grasp what is usually meant.
