A member asked:

I'm noticing my heart rate dropping to 40, even 30 very briefly, it's not causing fainting but there's definitely shortness of breath. my average resting heart rate seems to be between 80-100. this occurs both resting and active why would this occure?

It is best to be evaluated for that with objective assesment of why you have bradycardia. It is a malfunction of significance that should not be ignored so it could be rectified quickly. There is conduction abnormality that should be evaluated and corrected so be evaluated as soon as possible.

I agree with Dr. Adeyanju. Your condition is called symptomatic bradycardia so you need to see a cardiologist for a thorough exam and testing.
