Headaches for 7 months post head injury.ct scan clear.i think they are bp related as they come on when stressed/angry.neurologist says migraine + asked gp to issue candesartan and triptan. gp has not issued triptan, seems reluctant.why would this be?

I would assume your family doctor is cautious because your blood pressure is high so he (she) wants to control BP first and if headache persists, a triptan will be added because triptan can increase blood pressure which is one of its side effect.

We cannot interpret the decisions made by your personal physicians but one excellent approach is to schedule a meeting with both doctors and make joint decisions
