No. gastric bypass surgery is for vey fat people who want o lose weight and cant do it by other means. Fatty liver is very uncommon at your age caused by some damage to the liver so pl see a gastroenterologist and make sure the diagnosis is correct

It will not be a permanent fix, but can definitely delay its progression, that is assuming fatty liver only related to diabetes or obesity.
