My uterine polyp that i either had for years or it is new(not sure). it went from 1.4 cm to 0.6cm so it likely shrunk. my periods are regular.(my mother has history of precancer in her uterus.) what will be the likely recommendation?

I have a tiny uterine polyp for almost 3 years. I'm 30& I do get midcycle bleeding sometimes not all the time. Doctor isnt worried about it. It's up to me to remove but he's fine leaving it. Forgot to ask what is the precancer chance? Periods regular
