The correct term is infarction which refers to heart muscle damage usually caused by a blockage in a coronary artery. An anterior wall myocardial infarction refers to damage in the front portion of the left ventricle usually from a blockage in the left main or left descending coronary artery. The EKG would show abnormalities in leads 1, AVL, V1,V2,V3& V4. Sometimes the computer over estimates tho
