Should i be concerned about dark brown pasty loose stool? my 3 year old had a viral infection. on day 12 now and she's just left with this type of stool. dr not concerned. no pain and no other symptoms. been to drs, looking for 2nd opinion?

No concerns here. Dark brown pasty stools are within normal for a three year old. Resolution of illness, and lack of any other symptoms confirms it. Over time, as his gut flora returns to normal, the stool will typically return to where he was before.
