If I understand you correctly, one of your eyes feels dry and, perhaps irritated, for two months despite treatment with warm compresses and eye drops. It’s time to see an ophthalmologist and have that eye examined. Some primary care doctors are also able to do a good eye exam, but an ophthalmologist would likely have better equipment and give a more thorough exam. Go to ER if suddenly worse.
