Washed our 18 month old with dr. bronners unscented mild baby soap and he got a sud in his eye and started crying - we tried to wash it out - eye was slightly red/was crying for 5 minutes but now fine - should we worry about anything permanent?

Bar soap of any kind, when the suds get in the eye, is so dilute that aside from a bit of stinging, quickly disapates and will cause no harm So don't worry that this happened and you can continue to use that soap.
