A member asked:

I started supplementing with l arginine and pycnogenol with great success at reducing my blood pressure (140/90 avg. down to 127/80 avg). however there is conflicting evidence as to whether this will increase my risk of developing prostate cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

These are used for many indications and claims. As far as I can find there is no indication that they have been studied as causes of Ca of Prostate in mainstream Urologic literature. I am glad your BP is down with them. I am not an advocate of OTC meds not studied scientifically
