A member asked:

What is the risk of hyperechogenic central tissue in kidney being malignant? all kidney blood and urine tests are normal. f 63 yrs old with history of kidney stones. and utrasound was done for stones?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The area reported may be because of other things, like infection or it may even be the stone. You have to rely on the doctor or the urologist to help you understand what is going on and anxiety does not help any of you. Infection is unlikely if there is no fever and the urine test was normal like you said.
