Should have a GYN: If your pcp can do your annual gyn exam, you don't need to go to a gyn unless you're having a specific issue, in which case, your pcp will likely refer you to one. In general, women don't need a referral to go to a gyn, so it's helpful to have one so that you can go directly to them if you are having a gyn problem.

A gyn is much better: Than your pcp for gyn matters, as a gyn I have seen many gyn issues that should have been addressed by gyn docs, your pcp is better than the gyn for everything else, you can develop , hopefully not, other gyn problems in yoru 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s your pcp is better for everything else.
