Right areola gets very puffy like fluid it has fluid under it.. it goes away once nipple gets hard, but it gets way puffier than other areola. looks like a ring of puffy area under nipple. what could this be?

It would be rare for malignancy to cause this. Is there any relationship to onset of your menstrual cycle? I would be thinking of plugged milk duct or hormonal influences as possible causes. I recommend having a breast exam by your gynecologist or a breast surgeon. for evaluation and advice. Any appropriate testing will be ordered.
