Had left breast ultrasound and report says i have two hypoechoic masses likely representing complex cysts with no evidence of blood flow. his recommendation is to repeat in a year. should i be following up sooner?

Some other features of the cysts were not mentioned in your question. What are other characteristics of those cysts except there are no blood flow and what was the indication for breast ultrasound? Those characteristics may help to decide the correct follow-up plan. However, the presence of 2 complex cysts are more consistent with benign fibrocystic breast rather than malignant lesion.
