Every test can have a false neg and positive depending on many factors. You can get a test repeated at 40weeks- a test advised by your MD

That result is conclusive. There has never been a reported, scientifically documented case in which a newer laboratory-based HIV blood test (the ones in routine use the past few years) remained negative more than 3 months after being infected.
