Inflammation of the cervix will cause "spotting" and light bleeding, especially after sexual activity. See your GYN physician for an exam, who may suggest cryo treatment to create re-surfacing of the cervix.

Certain portions of the cervix are relatively fragile and it is not unusual for contact to cause some bleeding (pap smears for instance). Inflammation from various infections can also make contact bleeding more likely. However, in this situation do not assume that all of the bleeding is from the cervix as bleeding can be an early symptom of uterine problems, even cancer. Consult your gynecologist.
