Dr found "an extremely small clot in lung" & said it did not need treatment it was so small but i chose apixaban. he said 3 months & only prescribed 1. is 1 month enough to clear up what they describe as a very small clot? can't ask dr for a week?

The duration of anticoagulation for a provoked venous thromboembolism (DVT or PE) is 3 months and offending risk factor is removed, and more than 3 months if unprovoked.
