Every body is unique and responds to medication differently. Many factors contribute to high blood pressure. If you made other changes to your lifestyle at the same time while adding this medication, this may have been the reason for a more pronounced blood reassure lowering. Rejoice that you have to take less medicine and continue on with your life.
