Throat infection: The flu season is not at this time. It could be a viral illness though (just not the "flu"). With the duration, and a fever of 102, with persistent lymph nodes, I would get checked for possible bacterial infection (such as strep) as you may require an antibiotic. Best wishes.

See a doctor: and get a strep test. It could be viral or mono also. If it is strep you need antibiotics.
