Can gerd make you feel like something is stuck in your chest? i feel the sensation like something is stuck there and not sure if this a common reflux symptom. and if so, does it go away on its own?

Yes GERD can give you that symptom. Most of the time this resolves. But try OTC omeprazole or gelusel / peptobismol as needed
