Not Necessarily: Rarely this is a tumor. Part of it depends on how long it's been that way and how long it's taking to develop. More often this can be anatomical, mechanical related toposture. At times this is been there for a long time and people just suddenly notice it. When I am not certain i recommend imaging to clarify.
