A member asked:

Can an ecg(electrocardiogram) detect angina?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A resting EKG only can detect angina which is due to restricted coronary artery blood flow only if you're hooked up to the EKG when the angina occurs. Otherwise a treadmill stress test would have to be performed to provoke the angina symptoms.
